About Us

Our Mission – Love God, Love Others

Our Vision

We are a community of faith, being transformed by God’s grace, inspiring people to become disciples of Jesus.

Our Core Values

Love

Motivated by our experience of God’s love in our lives we desire to fulfill Jesus’ command to love God and love others. (Matthew 22:37-39)

Our love of God is expressed through a life of worship in which we honor God through our everyday, ordinary life; doing everything in word and deed in the name of Jesus. (Romans 12:1; Colossians 3:17)

Our love of others is an expression of the love we have experienced through Jesus. As we learn to love ourselves as God loves us we are motivated to demonstrate our love in practical ways. (Matthew 25:34ff; 1 John 3:16-18)

Community

We value every individual, from the youngest to the oldest, believing that within our community they can experience fellowship, express their gifts in ministry, and engage with others to create an environment where everyone is significant [treasured].

Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12:27; Acts 2:42-47; Acts 4:32-35

Hospitality

We are committed to creating a welcoming and caring environment for all, which extends from the heart of our people in a warm, friendly, generous manner that enables people to gather and experience life together.

Matthew 25:34-46; Mark 9:35-37; 1 Peter 4:9; Hebrews 13:1-2; Isaiah 58:6-7

Generosity

Responding to the generous spirit of God we are committed to sacrificial giving in support of our ministry together. This generous spirit encompasses our time, talents and treasures in caring for the needs of others.

Luke 6:38; Acts 4:32-37; 2 Corinthians 8:1-4; 9:6-7; Malachi 3:10-12

Excellence

We strive for excellence in all things as a reflection of the God we serve. While we will not endeavor to do all things; what we do will be done with distinction and excellence. Recognizing that we are made in the image of God we will express creativity and innovation with a spirit of integrity in order to promote a ministry that honors God.

1 Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 3:17, 23-24; Malachi 1:6-8

Growth

As individuals, and as a community of faith, we recognize our imperfections and therefore endeavor to grow in grace and wisdom as evidenced by our commitment to become more like Jesus. 1 Corinthians 3:6; Colossians 1:3-14; John 15:1-17; Ephesians 4:11-16
