Linglestown Christian Nursery School (LCNS), a premier, Harrisburg-area preschool serving 115 students from ages 2 years, 7 months – 5 is currently seeking a new director. LCNS provides nine age-based classes from September through May. LCNS is a ministry of Linglestown Life UM Church located at 1430 N Mountain Rd. in Linglestown.
Candidates for this full-time, salaried position require a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. Those seeking the position should have classroom experience and demonstrated administrative skills. The Director will be a Christ-centered individual who is committed to nurturing children’s relationship with God. Briefly, responsibilities of the position include:
- Setting policy and procedures, along with our advisory team
- Providing spiritual direction to staff and students
- Public relations and outreach to parents, and our community
- Fiscal management of salaries, tuition, and budget
- Personnel management including hiring, and supervision of staff
- Development and maintenance of curriculum, health, and safety plans
- Participation in the life of the church and involvement with church staff
