Small Group

What is a Small Group?

A small group is a gathering of people that regularly meet to grow spiritually, to love and support one another, to reach out to others, and to have fun doing it!

In a Small Group, you will experience:

  • Authentic relationships
  • Mutual loving support
  • Spiritual nourishmen
  • Biblical teaching
  • Mission & service projects
  • Joy-filled social times

Why are Small Groups Important?

First, small groups are important because they enable you to grow spiritually in a casual setting that encourages questions and interaction. Second, they help to maintain personal connections to the church and communicate activities. This is increasingly important during the new building construction. Small groups help people stay connected.  Third, our mission here at Linglestown Life is to Love God, Love Others. We are called to reachout to others with the saving news of Jesus, and so our hope is that God will use us to grow His Church. While we grow larger, we also want to grow smaller. Small groups complement the larger worship setting. They can provide that personal attention and personal touch that enables your needs to be addressed. Each person here is special and important to us and to God, and deserves that personal interaction that small groups can provide. Finally, small groups are just a fun and a great way to deepen our relationship with God: Father, Son, and Spirit with loving Christian friends."

How do I connect with the Small Group ministry?

Ready to join a group? Thinking about starting a new one? The best way to connect with our small group ministry is to indicate your interest via the Response Cards in the weekly worship bulletins. Additionally, feel free to call the church office by phone (545-5200) or email Pastor Adam (aestep@linglestownlife.org).

Remember the words of Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one... If they fall down, they can help each other up."
