Safe Sanctuaries...

At Linglestown Life, our team of dedicated and experienced children and youth servants has been through our Safe Sanctuaries training program. This program not only screens our volunteers, but also provides them with a safe and consistent procedure by which we can protect both our children and our adult volunteers.  As part of this policy for children through fifth grade, we ask our parents and caregivers to sign-in their child when dropping off, and sign-out their child when picking up directly from the classrooms.  For more information about our Safe Sanctuaries program, please go to Linglestown Life Safe Sanctuaries Policy

Sunday School and FirstSunday4Worship...

Except for the FirstSundays of each month, Sunday school at Linglestown Life is offered to children of all ages weekly from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.   On our FirstSundays4Worship, it is our goal to emphasize that day as a day we specifically encourage our community of faith to reach out to one another, to invite extended family and friends to church, and to encourage and celebrate our relationships through worship together. This includes a focus on our children as we invite and encourage them to join parents and caregivers in the pews so that, together, they can experience and better understand aspects of worship foundational to their faith journey. Nursery care, Little Lambs, and Little Disciples I and II continue to offer care and classes EVERY Sunday, as usual.

Nursery Care/Little Lambs Sunday School...

...Is available every Sunday morning beginning for both worship services.  The 8:45 a.m. worship service takes place in our traditional sanctuary, so our nursery care during that time is located down the hallway behind the sanctuary, on the right, and is appropriate for children from birth through preschool.  During the 10:00 a.m. worship service, our childcare becomes the Little Lambs Sunday School class, designed for newborn through age 2-1/2 years.  This later service takes place in our Family Life Center, and this class is found in the hospitality area behind the Family Life Center.  Our nursery rooms are equipped with everything necessary for infant care and comfort, along with toys and books for woddlers, toddlers and young children. For nursing mothers, a semi-private space is available for your use.

Little Disciples...

...Include our two preschool Sunday School classes, offered during our contemporary worship service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  These classrooms are found down the hallway directly behind the traditional sanctuary. Our Little Disciples I class is designed for children ages 2-1/2 to 4, and our 4-year-olds meet separately in Little Disciples II.  These classes are designed to introduce our preschoolers to Jesus so they can begin to embrace God's love through stories, songs, activities and more.

Elementary Kidz Zone Sunday School...

...Includes preK/kindergarten through fifth grade, and is offered during our modern worship service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  These classrooms are all found on the second floor of our education wing, with each grade level classroom marked for your convenience.  These kids begin their hour together for a short period of singing and worship, after which they return to their grade level classrooms for engaging and interactive lessons. Our spiritual goal for elementary children includes learning to trust and follow God and their faith. Third grade students receive a Bible on Promotion Sunday each fall and will learn more about it throughout their third grade year of Sunday school.

Disciple U includes middle and high schoolers...

...Youth beginning in sixth grade through twelth grade enjoy their hour together from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  All ages meet in Fellowship Hall, in our lower level next to the kitchen.  Refreshments are enjoyed and announcements are shared in addition to prayer, song and more.  After that time, the middle school returns to Room 3 for the lesson and the high school returns to the Youth Room for their lesson, both on the lower level.

DISCIPLESHIP is the process by which we grow to become more like Christ.  What does that mean to you as a Christian teen?  What does that 'look' like?  Can you grow in faith while juggling school, activities, family and social stress?  Join us at DISCIPLE U to find out!  COURSE SELECTION for the month of October is themed:  "The Christian Atheist:  I believe in God but..."
